No funding for €35m Basketball Arena with thumbs-up for plans
BASKETBALL Ireland said it is disappointed that it has not been successful in receiving an allocation from the 2024 Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF) for the proposed €38 million redevelopment of the National Basketball Arena in Tymon Park.
Despite this, the organisation says it remains committed to the project which has already secured planning permission from South Dublin County Council and had hoped to start building the multi sport and multi-use Arena in 2026.
