Spawell GAA facility’s €7m boost with no planning nod

THE Spawell GAA cluster facility is set to benefit from a €7m injection under a government sports fund – despite the fact that the Spawell development has yet to receive planning permission from South Dublin County Council.

Second round of funding allocations under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF) was announced this week by Ministers Catherine Martin and Thomas Byrne.
