No Luas running between Belgard and the Square in Tallaght

There is currently no Luas service between Belgard and the Square stops on the red line this evening.

In a statement released this evening the Luas operators said: “Please be advised there is no service between Belgard and Tallaght due to a technical fault.  

“We are doing our utmost to restore a full line as soon as possible.  

“Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this disruption.  

“We apologise for any and all inconvenience caused.”

The delays follow disruption last night on the Luas red line at Kingswood when a motorist drove onto the tracks and got stuck.
