No venue in the county to host ten pin bowling

SOUTH Dublin County has a “huge history” of ten pin bowling and many national and European champions, but there is no venue in the county to accommodate leagues and competitions.

Two bowling venues have closed in recent years – Palmerstown and Stillorgan – forcing players to train and compete outside the county.
