Old Mill owner Louis Fitzgerald quashes rumours pub is for sale

THE owner of the Old Mill pub in Tallaght has quashed unfounded rumours that the pub is set to go on the market.
In recent weeks, several people have contacted The Echo in relation to the rumours, but when this paper called businessman and owner of The Old Mill, Louis Fitzgerald, recently, he said that the rumours were untrue.

Far from having plans to sell the pub, Mr Fitzgerald said that there are plans for the pub to offer a ‘grab and go’ service for people who want to order food, and he added that, in the current climate where social distancing is a necessity, the pub will be well placed to host patrons in future due to its size.
Updates on the ‘grab and go’ service and any future opening of the pub, following the easing of government guidelines during the pandemic, will be available on the Old Mill Tallaght Facebook page.
