Pauline and Martin celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

LOVE was in the air for Tallaght couple Martin and Pauline Moran as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last week.

The couple, who live in Tymon North, celebrated their special golden anniversary on Friday, March 4, with a party in Reeve’s restaurant in Templeogue.

Martin, who is originally from Cabra West on Dublin’s Northside, and Pauline, from Kiltipper Road in Tallaght, met back on December 10, 1967, in Club Arthur on the Quays.

Speaking about what the secret to a blissful 50-year marriage is, Martin said: “Not getting worked up over things – you can only do what you can do, you can only play the cards that you are dealt.”

Martin and Pauline’s Niece Lisa and their close family and friends wished them a congratulations on their special anniversary.
