Peachtree East launches woodfire pizza menu as it reopens collection and delivery service

PEACHTREE East is this weekend re-opening its collection and delivery service, which includes the launch of its new woodfire pizza menu.

In line with Government advice, and with the support of staff, the Tallaght restaurant confirmed it is re-opening for collection and delivery service this evening – Thursday, April 2.

People can place an order for collection between 4.30pm and 9pm, Thursday to Saturday.

A limited delivery service is also available for those who most need it.

“We’ve amended our menu to include dishes people would want to eat at home, and not break the bank”, Peachtree’s Paul Phillips told The Echo.

“We are being considerate of people’s budgets at the moment.

“We’ve got a selection of wholesome, homemade dishes…freshly made to order.”

Paul also filled The Echo in on the launch of Peachtree’s new woodfire pizza menu, which is ready to go for the re-opening this weekend.

Alongside a number of health and safety measures, including gloves, masks and sanitising facilities for staff, the Peachtree team will call customers when their order is ready.

“There will be no more than three people in the restaurant collecting food at any one time” Paul said.

“Each customer will also be allocated a collection point within the restaurant, which abides by social distancing guidelines – and we have hand santitisers available too.

“We are encouraging phone payment… and you have to ring in [your order], don’t drop in.”

Alongside phoning in an order, people can also order online – with a new Peachtree Restaurant App also due to be launched this weekend.

“We hope everyone supports us”, Paul said.

“We’re trying to be part of the solution and we hope people can give us a dig out too… and buy local.

“As a business we’ve had to evolve with this crisis, we’re hoping to get through this with some ingenuity.”
