Peamount manager Alban Hysa has stepped down

Peamount manager Alban Hysa has stepped down from the role ahead of their final matches of the season.

Hysa previously enjoyed a successful spell at Bohemians in 2025 where in taking them to an All Island Cup final and an FAI Cup final he was awarded the Manager of the Year award for the season .

He took over Peamount in June of the 2026 campaign after previous manager Gary Seery stepped down but unfortunately it has been a season to forget for the Peas.

They currently sit ninth in the table with just five league wins all season. A semi final in the All Island Cup was somewhat positive however the side would be knocked out of the FAI Cup in the second round after being defeated by Athlone.

Their recent form in particular has been poor with just a single win in the last eight games for the club, alongside six defeats and just one draw.

Peamount now prepare for their final home game of the season tomorrow as they host Galway United at Greenogue Park.
