Permission is granted for 237 dwellings at site in Adamstown

PERMISSION has been granted for 237 dwellings on a  5.73Ha site in Adamstown in Lucan.

Cairn Homes Properties Ltd made revisions to their original planning with modifications relating to a change of house type from 36-43 inclusive to the south of the east-west road to be known as Gandon Crescent.

The proposed eight dwellings to be replaced consist of one house type A2 (4 bed 2 storey semi-detached); 1 house type A1 (4 bed 2 storey semi-detached); two house type A (4 bed 2 storey semi-detached); two house type B1 (three bed two storey end of terrace); and two house type B (3 bed 2 storey mid terrace).

The eight replacement units consist of twos house type B1 (3 bed 2 storey semi-detached); and 6 house type B (3 bed 2 storey semi-detached.

There is also minor revisions to the parking layout affecting 68 parking spaces south of the east-west road (Gandon Crescent) to allow for improved sightlines and all associated site and development works; there is no change to the overall number of units or parking spaces previously permitted under reg. SDZ18A/0004 and the extent of the lands affected by this application is 0.3Ha; the application relates to part of the lands within Adamstown SDZ Planning Scheme (2014) known as Airlie Stud (Development Area 3).
