Plan for 10-unit social housing project in Pearse Brothers’ Park

PLANS for a 10-unit social housing project for independent living for older persons at Pearse Brothers’ Park in Rathfarnham have reached the public consultation stage.

South Dublin County Council’s project includes the construction of six one-bedroom, one-storey houses, two two-bedroom ground floor apartments, and two two-bedroom first floor apartments.

The housing provision comprises of one-storey terraced units and two-storey terraced end units, grouped around a central courtyard.

Provision of landscaping works to boundaries and all necessary associated ancillary works on the site and to adjacent areas including community room is included.

The plans can be viewed by appointment only in County Hall, Tallaght for a period of four weeks from May 27, or online at www.sdcc.ie and http://consult.sdublincoco.ie, where online submissions can also be made until midnight on Friday, July 9. 

Written submissions from the public can be made on the application, until 4.30pm on July 9, to Senior Executive Officer, Housing Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
