PERMISSION is being sought for the construction of four warehouses across three buildings in Cheeverstown, Tallaght.

Rohan Project Management has lodged an application with South Dublin County Council for the proposed development on a site which is adjacent from the Cheeverstown Luas stop.

Cheeverstown Site 10 1

Permission is being sought for the construction of three warehouses at this site in Cheeverstown

The entire proposal includes a total gross floor area of circa 13,611sq.m, which includes offices and operational facilities, across the three buildings.

Measuring 15m in height, the warehouses are supported by rear service yards, 155 car parking spaces and 72 bike parking spaces in the application.

The applicant is also hoping to relocate a pump station that was previously sought permission for in 2015 and again in 2020.

Should the application get the go ahead, an internal road network will be built which will be accessed by two entrances.

One entrance will be located just off the roundabout at Citywest Avenue while the other will be via the Cheeverstown Road.

They are also seeking to amend proposed “tree pits” along a green-link which was permitted under a previous planning application.

Third party submissions relating to the proposed development are open until July 12, with a decision due from the council on August 2.
