Plans are underway for Arts Festival in summer

Planning is underway for the Ballyfermot Cherry Orchard Arts Festival which takes place from the July 7-14.

The next public meeting for the festival is in Ballyfermot Civic Centre at 7pm on Tuesday, April 23.

Dublin City Council will support family fun days in Markievicz Park and Cherry Orchard Park.

Meanwhile, Chapelizod Festival takes place from July 1-7.

Drimnagh Festival will be undergoing some changes for 2024.

Planning and fundraising meetings are due to commence in April where the festival date, content details and  proposed changes will be agreed and confirmed.

The council will also support local residents groups to host local play events in local parks and/or green spaces during the summer months.
