ADDITIONAL information has been submitted in relation to plans for 133 dwellings and a creche located to the south of Oldcourt Cottages and to the north of the ESB wires in the townland of Bohernabreena, Oldcourt and Ballycullen.

It is proposed that access to the development will be provided via an adjoining residential development known as Dodderbrook, which is accessed from Oldcourt Road.

It is stipulated in the application that the development is in accordance with the Ballycullen Oldcourt Local Area Plan 2014.

It is proposed that the development will be comprised of three four-bed, two-storey detached houses, 90 three- and four-bed, two-storey semi-detached houses, 27 three-bed, two-storey terraced houses and six three-bed duplexes with three two- and three-bed duplex apartments in a three-storey building.

The submission also contains plans for four two-bed apartments over two floors and a 423 sq. m two-storey creche.

There are provisions for all associated site development and infra-structural works, including surface water with attenuation, piped and wired services, car parking, open spaces and landscaping.

The council requested additional information in June, which was then submitted by the applicant at the end of July.

The additional information includes a proposed site plan, an areas summary for the entire site, an engineer’s road construction details, landscape drawing schedule and a landscape masterplan.

South Dublin County Council has yet to make a decision on the application.
