Plans to demolish two houses to make way for seven houses

PLANS for the demolition of a two-storey house at Clonbrone, Lucan Newlands Road on Esker Hill in Lucan, to make way for the development of seven houses, have been lodged.

Nacul Developments Limited, with an address in Dublin 14, submitted their planning application on October 13.

The developer is seeking permission for the demolition of an existing two-storey detached dwelling, with an area 162sq.m, and associated out-buildings on site.

This is to facilitate the construction of seven two-storey, plus dormer level, five-bedroom houses.

The houses comprise three detached houses and four semi-detached houses on a site area of approximately 0.3 hectares.

Proposed access to the development will be via the existing vehicular entrance on the Lucan-Newlands Road/Esker Hill, according to the planning application.

A decision on the application is due from South Dublin County Council by December 7.
