A PLOT of development land adjacent to the Hui Kee Chinese takeaway on Bulfin Road in Inchicore has gone on the market with an asking price of €175k.

The 0.25-acre land is being sold by private treaty by Venture Properties who note that the land could fulfil “a variety of uses” subject to planning permission.

The site is zoned ‘Neighbourhood Centre’, meaning it is to provide for and improve neighbourhood facilities.

According to Dublin City Council, neighbourhood centres provide local facilities such as convenience shops, hairdressers and post offices within a residential neighbourhood.

These centres range from the traditional parade of shops to larger neighbourhood centres.

“The majority of properties along the road are in retail use on the ground floor with either residential or office use above,” according to the listing for the plot of land.

It benefits from being in close proximity to bus routes including G1, G2, 13 and 68, and is near Mercy Secondary School and Inchicore National School.
