Poor parking delays DFB responding to three emergency calls in one day
Dublin Fire Brigade were delayed on their way to three separate emergency situations yesterday because of poor or inconsiderate parking.
Last night members of D Watch in Tallaght were left frustrated as cars on either side of a road within a local estate meant they were delayed.

Earlier in the day an ambulance from C Watch in Finglas responding to a 999 call was halted in Santry due “to some poor parking” according to a DFB spokesperson.
Meanwhile, a turntable ladder, advanced paramedic and ambulance were delayed on route to a medical call, with little room for emergency vehicles to get through.
The message from DFB remains the same, with a spokesperson saying: “If you can, leave space for us when parking, thanks.”
