The court heard that the incidents all happened just after he had been released from psychiatric hospital.

The man who has an address in Tallaght , had pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a female in a shop in Dundrum Town Centre on May 20, 2013.

He had also pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting another female in a shop in The Square, Tallaght, on May 23, 2013, and to sexually assaulting another female in a social welfare office in West Dublin, on May 21, 2013.

The case was before Judge Patricia McNamara for sentencing. His counsel, George Burns Bl, told Judge McNamara that the offences had all happened within a week of his client having been released from psychiatric hospital.

He said he had not been taking his medication at the time of the offences. Mr Burns added that he is now taking his medication and there had been no further incidents.

Judge McNamara gave him a conditional discharge under Section 1 (1) (ii) of the Probation Act and placed him on a Probation Bond for two years on condition that he be of good behaviour, that he take his medication and that he engage with the Probation Services.
