Public Participation Network: Help create a Community Wellbeing statement…

THE South Dublin County PPN has been tasked with creating a ‘Community Wellbeing’ statement and is inviting all of its members to join them in developing a statement for South Dublin.

The local PPN wants your input on the future wellbeing of the county.

Considering all the aspects of community wellbeing together helps to identify actions that can be undertaken by communities alongside local and national government.

Throughout September, the PPN will be holding seven workshops, designed to better understand what our member groups would like to see in their community, as well as identifying existing community assets.

Details of the evening workshops are available below and on social media.

It is hoped that member groups will play a leading role in developing this Wellbeing Statement that the PPN will use as the backbone of its strategies going forward.

The workshops will be externally facilitated and will focus on six key topics.

These include Environment, Health, Economy, Community Development, Democracy & Culture.

The PPN encourages member groups to engage in this process as it seeks to build this vision together.

Following the workshops in September, the PPN will collate all of the inputs and produce a report to be approved at its winter plenary session.

This is an exciting opportunity to have your voices heard.

If you would like to know more about the events or wish to register with the PPN – please do get in touch with the SDPPN coordinator – kieran@sdcppn.ie.
