The 6th Annual Fit-Out Awards took place on November 2 in Dublin.

The Red Cow Moran Hotel was presented with their award in recognition for the 7-storey extension which saw the recent transformation of the Hotel.

This €20 million project started in October 2015, overseen by Michael Moran, Project Development Director at Moran Hotels, and was completed by the end of the 2016.

Michael is absolutely thrilled with the win: “I am delighted with the award and to receive it for a truly personal project is a huge honour for both myself and the rest of our family. The Red Cow Moran Hotel has always been recognised as one of the best known and best located Hotels in Dublin, and now following this recent transformation our flagship is even bigger and better, special thanks to Noda and Henry J Lyons for a job very well done”

Working with Interior Designer Nikki O’Donnell and her team of interior specialists from NODA and Architects Henry J Lyons, the Moran family brought this combined expertise and attention to detail to bear on every aspect of the new design at the Red Cow Moran Hotel.

With subtle references to the family’s history and roots in County Limerick, there are witty nods to that background and to the name of both the area and the hotel – the Red Cow – woven throughout the new build.

Linked to the original hotel building (the East Wing) by a handsome link lounge, the new extension (the West Wing) has 7 floors with spacious and stylish bedrooms, 2 dedicated Executive Floors and a series of exceptionally comfortable meeting rooms with 2 innovative Think Tank rooms.
