Resident ‘appalled’ by lack of action over bridge safety

A TALLAGHT resident who has branded the Charles O’Toole Footbridge “badly designed” and a health-and-safety risk, said he’s “appalled” by a perceived lack of action about the issue.

David Larkin, who lives near the bridge which traverses the N81 from Tallaght village across to St Dominic’s, said he has repeatedly raised the issue with South Dublin County Council to no avail.
