WITH many people preparing to return to the workplace, the environment will have changed to incorporate all manner of compliance and public health measures.

A partnership between the Greater Dublin Chamber Alliance, of which South Dublin Chamber are a member, and Adare Human Resource Management, aims to provide expert advice and guidance to support a safe return to the workplace.

The partnership will ensure Chamber members have access to expert human resource management advice on an ongoing basis.

Peter Byrne CEO South Dublin Chamber believes the partnership will be of real value to members: “As well as getting their businesses back open again, employers also have to ensure compliance with ongoing public health advice, the welfare of the employees and customers and looking at how the latest employment legislation will impact their business.

“Businesses are in uncharted waters and with so much uncertainty still in the air, having a trusted partner in Adare Human Resource Management will help our members navigate a safe reopening and support them going forward.”

He added: “We’ve seen in recent weeks how fluid the current situation is and the impact Government decisions are having on businesses. Employers are faced with so many challenges, including ensuring the future viability of their business and knowing that members have expert HR, employment law and health and safety advice available to them will provide support when they need it most.”

Derek McKay, Managing Director at Adare Human Resource Management, says businesses are having to adapt to changes on a scale never seen before.

“Remote and hybrid working, managing the safe return to the workplace including employees and vaccinations as well as the introduction of legislation around sick leave and the right to disconnect are just some of the challenges employers have to deal with,” he said.

“Our expert team will help provide the peace of mind for members ensuring that they have access to the latest advice and guidance as well as being fully compliant with their responsibilities and allow them to concentrate on their business.”
