Rise to the challenge with the Great Lucan Bake Off
ARE you the crème de la crème of local baking?
Lucan Library is hosting its second annual Great Lucan Bake Off on Saturday, November 18, with all local bakers invited to rise to the challenge and submit a cake or bread for judging.
The competition, which for adult bakers only, has three categories this year – small cakes, large cakes and breads.
According to the library, everybody is welcome to come along with their cakes and breads, with members of the public, who would like to view all the yummy baked creations, also invited to drop in.
So, if you believe you can be the Sophie Faldo (2017 Great British Bake Off winner) of Lucan, pick up an entry form from Lucan Library.
Anybody unable to pick up an entry form, can simply turn up on the day with their baked goodies.
