Rovers v Bohs goes ahead tonight in Tallaght after two pitch inspections

Tonight’s Dublin derby between Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians goes ahead after two pitch inspections by referee Rob Harvey.

There had been some concern about the condition of the pitch after heavy rain Tallaght overnight, but staff at Tallaght Stadium carried out additional work this evening and the game is on.

Rovers will be hoping to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Dundalk, while Bohemians will be seeking their first win of the season after they were beaten by Derry.

The game is live on RTE2 at 7:30pm.
