A bigger crowd is expected to attend tonight’s black tie ceremony, which will be MC’d by RTE broadcaster Marty Whelan, with music by the Alexandra Miller Trio Band.

There are 12 different category awards designed to celebrate companies and individuals who have gone above and beyond to address both their own competitive interests and the interests of the community.

All criteria for the awards, judging and mystery shopping evaluations, has been carried out by Spotcheck, an independent awards agency.

South Dublin Chamber President Margaret Considine and South Dublin Mayor Paul Gogarty are among those who will present awards on the night.

The gala ceremony is hosted in partnership with South Dublin County Council – whilst a number of high profile companies are sponsoring awards including Google Ireland, Bewley’s, Roadstone and AIB.
