Security guards pay rise ‘it was long awaited’
A local man recently helped to negotiate a significant pay increase for security guards.
Security officer with Manguard Plus and senior SIPTU activist Christy Waters, Clondalkin, helped to negotiate a €1.60 increase to the basic hourly rate of pay for workers employed in the security industry, from €12.90 to €14.50.
