Sisters set up Tiggy’s Trust

Eliza and Lucy, older sisters of 15-year-old equestrian champion Tiggy Hancock, have set up a trust foundation in Tiggy’s memory.
Tiggy tragically died on June 16 at Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin after being injured at the Greenogue Equestrian Centre in Rathcoole during a training session.

Horse Sport Ireland and members of the equestrian community have sent their condolences and support to Tiggy’s family and many have been wearing yellow to honour the talented young rider.
The Facebook page for Tiggy’s Trust, which has over 5,000 followers, remembers how “her golden heart and infectious fun personality extended to all who knew her”.
The foundation’s donation website is full of kind messages from friends and acquaintances.
The money raised from the fund will go towards “a number of good causes that would have been close to Tiggy’s heart” according to the site.
