Six men found not guilty in Jobstown protest trial

The six men charged with the false imprisonment of then Tanaiste Joan Burton and her adviser in Jobstown in 2014 have been found not guilty at the Central Criminal Courts today.

Paul Murphy (34) of Kingswood Heights, Tallaght; Kieran Mahon (39) of Bolbrook Grove, Tallaght; Michael Murphy (53) of Whitechurch Way, Ballyboden, Dublin; Michael Banks (46) of Brookview Green; Scott Masterson (34) of Carrigmore Drive, Tallaght and Frank Donaghy (71) of Alpine Rise, Tallaght had all denied the charges. 

As the trial headed into its ninth week the jury had begun deliberations, and had this morning requested to see video footage again.
