St Brigid’s Day Fair in Richmond Barracks

RICHMOND Barracks is hosting a St Brigid’s Day Fair in Inchicore, on February 3 and 4. Visitors to the weekend market can enjoy a variety of designers, crafters, and makers selling their wares.

There will also be free creative workshops for children and families, live music, entertainment, food and drink options.

Celebrate the beginning of spring, new growth and new creation at Richmond Barracks during the two-day St Brigid’s Day Fair.

Beyond a traditional market, the fair invites residents to engage in creative and fun activities, try something new, and discover what goes on at Richmond Barracks.

This fair will celebrate all things Brigit and Brigid and in particular, celebrate the impact of women in business and products that empower women and girls. It will also support enterprises with a strong focus on women in enterprise.

Visitors can also enjoy tours of Goldenbridge Cemetry – Ireland’s first garden cemetery – or learn about local history on the Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Goal tour.

Admission to the market is free, and organisers note that it is dog friendly, and buggy and wheelchair accessible.
