St John’s House will provide accommodation to applicants
THE Department of Children confirmed this week that St John’s House in Tallaght will be “brought into use in the near future to provide accommodation to IP (International Protection) applicants.”
Speculation has been rife since January that new arrivals will be accommodated at the site, after the Dept confirmed to The Echo that an offer of accommodation for migrants was made to the Irish government in respect of St John’s House.
