
Tallaght Community School staff surprise students during graduation

STUDENTS had a memorable graduation despite ongoing restrictions when they were surprised by staff members outside their homes during a live zoom graduation ceremony.
6th year students from Tallaght Community School got a special surprise during their graduation ceremony that took place on May 28 on Zoom at 3pm.

Due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the school could not run their traditional graduation ceremony that would usually be held.
As part of the ceremony, four awards were given out to deserving recipients.

Drawing from the school’s motto “everyone matters and every moment counts”, the school decided to make the ceremony as memorable as possible by surprising the award recipients with an in-person award, accompanied with balloons in the school’s colours.

The theme for this year’s graduation ceremony was resilience and hope, as the students showed their strength despite two national lockdowns in the past year.
