Declan Bowe, General Manager of Tallaght Cross Hotel said: “All of our sister properties from the TMR Hotel Group – we all went out on the Saturday. Some of them include Harveys Point in Donegal, Connemara Coast Hotel, Farnham Estate in Cavan.

“We all went out on Saturday and did some level of Tidy Towns initiative to clean up the area.

“One of the things I wanted to do apart from power hosing and sweeping, was to plant fresh summer flowers.”

Declan says that they planted around 400 bedding plants, to help brighten up the area and lift people’s spirits as we mark a fresh start.

“We are surrounded by a lot of the healthcare areas around Tallaght Cross. Radiologists, CRY unit, the Reeves Day Surgery Centre as well as neighbours like Aldi and the fitness club, and then we have the residents as well.

“It’s nice to see some fresh colourful flowers as you walk around the Plaza, it’s lovely. Fingers crossed we will be able to welcome the guests back and they will be able to see the nice flowers as they walk in.”
