Tallaght Health Fair will take centre stage tomorrow

THE Tallaght Community Health Fair will take centre stage on September 19 when more than 60 community health services will gather in Tallaght Stadium for the free event.

Open to the entire community, the fair will promote local health services alongside offering free screenings such as lung functioning, BMI, blood pressure and sugar levels.

 A number of health talks will also take to the floor and cover issues such as diabetes, speech and language, gambling support and medication drugs, while acupuncture, pranic healing, massage and meditation will be among a number of relaxing therapies available on the day.

Mini-makeovers and light refreshments are also on the agenda.
