Tallaght Hospital seeking access lobby to Luas stop

TALLAGHT Hospital is applying for permission to create a new pedestrian access lobby, which will link the Hospital Luas stop with the local health facility.
The development will consist of the refurbishment of an existing waiting area in the Chaplaincy Department on ground-floor level to pave the way for a new pedestrian access lobby linked to the existing Luas stop – making access for those travelling to the hospital by Luas easier.
Connecting the Luas stop with the hospital has been under discussion for some time, and now, that a planning application is being lodged with South Dublin County Council, it could become a reality.
