The highest birth rate recorded in Ireland in 2022 was in Tallaght, while Glenties in county Donegal had the lowest, according to new figures.
The Central Statistics Office have (CSO) released Births and Deaths at Local Electoral Areas (LEA) 2022, which shows that nationally, the birth rate stood at 10.2 per 1,000 of population that year.
