Technology giant Infosys to relocate to Citywest

INDIAN multinational firm Infosys is to relocate 250 of its staff from Booterstown to Citywest Business Campus.

The information technology giant is planning to double its staff numbers over the next three years, and has rented a 2,750sq.m. in the newly refurbished Lake Drive office building in Citywest.

Details of the letting have not yet been announced but it is understood that Infosys has agreed to a 25-year lease with a break option at the end of year seven at an initial rent of €226 per sq.m.

In December, Infosys made the initial announcement regarding their plans for further jobs, at the recently upgraded Citywest building.

The office accommodation has raised access floors, suspended ceilings, recessed lightings, air conditioning and high-spec core finishes.

About 110 car parking spaces are provided for in the new lease.

Infosys provide business consulting, technology, software engineering and outsourcing services for clients in more than 50 countries.

The announcement is the latest good news for Citywest and surrounding areas, with jobs front recently announced with NeoPost and PlanNet21 in Citywest, and Grifols and Pfizer in Grange Castle.
