This week’s Echo Sport preview

In this week’s Echo Sport we look ahead to Ballyboden St Enda’s Leinster semi-final this coming weekend against St Lomans in Mullingar, and we hear from ‘Boden manager Andy McEntee.

The Firhouse Road men have played seven games in eight weeks to get to this point, but the newly crowned Dublin champions are all set for what could be a memorable day in Cusack Park.

Elsewhere, we have all the latest on the Thomas Davis Under 15 Girls who lifted the Championship last weekend, plus there are picture pages from the Sam Maguire’s trip to St Jude’s.

In soccer, there are reports from the clash of Sacred Heart and Bluebell United last Saturday and the tie between Peamount United and St Francis, which also took place in blustery conditions at the weekend.

The WAKO World Kickboxing Championships begin next week in Citywest Hotel, and with 1,000 competitors coming from across the world, we look at the prospect of some of our local fighters lifting world titles.

News of another medal for Jack Woolley, this time in Croatia where he took home a silver medal, is covered, as is a good win for Three Rock Rovers in the EY Hockey League.

If that was not enough, both Oblate Dynamos and Templeogue put in brilliant performances to record wins in the National Cup, and we have all the action and reaction from these ties.

As always, if we have missed anything then do not hesitate to get in touch, and don’t forget to pick up your copy of the Echo, on sale in shops and online, this Thursday.
