TIP: Always stop for gardai when prompted to do so!

A motorist recently found out the hard way why it’s important to always stop for gardai when prompted to do so.

A speeding driver in Donegal was recently clocked doing 147kph in a 100kph zone, but failed to stop when flagged by officers.

The car eventually struck a ditch and the driver was arrested.

No injuries were reported.
