Triplets get home in time to support the boys in blue

IT WAS a case of three-in-a-row for the Deasy family last Saturday, when they welcomed home not only the Sam Maguire to Dublin but their six-week-old old triplets.
Tallaght triplets Lenny, Ted and Bruce have become local celebs, after a picture of the three baby brothers wearing their Dubs jerseys for the All-Ireland Final on August 31 was shared on social media.

The tiny team of brothers also made their local paper, with The Echo featuring an article on the young Dubs’ supporters.
Lenny, Ted and Bruce were born in the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, to parents Chris Deasy and Ali O’Leary on August 2.
Both members of Thomas Davis, Chris, originally from Dominics, plays for the Kiltipper Road-side’s intermediate team while Ali, who hails from Springfield, plays for the club’s Junior Ladies.
Now living in Elder Heath with their four-year-old daughter Georgia, Chris and Ali welcomed their one-month-old baby boys home last week, just in time for the All-Ireland replay on September 14.
The little Dublin supporters donned their jerseys again for the sporting occasion, and watched the match at home with dad Chris – while mam Ali headed into Croke Park.
Speaking with The Echo, Ali said: “All of the boys were home by the Tuesday [of last week] so we had a few days to settle them in before the madness of the match.

“They are in a great routine from the hospital, so I can’t complain in that regard.
“The staff in Holles Street have been amazing, I couldn’t say enough good words about them.”
She added: “The triplets’ big sister Georgia has also been a great help and she checks on her little brothers every five minutes.”
