Two-year driving ban for woman and fine of €200

A WOMAN who had no insurance has been put off the road for two years.

Judge David McHugh also fined Ann Marie Connors €200.

Connors, aged 24, with an address at Cloonmore Park in Tallaght, had pleaded guilty to stealing a Parka coat worth €379 from Tommy Hilfiger, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Clondalkin, on December 20, 2016.

She had also pleaded guilty to having no insurance at Kiltalown Way in Tallaght on December 7, 2018.

Connors’ counsel, Jennifer Jackson Bl, said her client had €300 compensation in court.

Ms Jackson said the offences dated back to 2016 and 2018. Judge McHugh fined Connors €100 for having no insurance and imposed a two-year driving ban. He also fined her €100 for the theft.
