Up to 61 court convictions for illegal dumping in last five years

MORE people were convicted for illegal dumping in Dublin South Central over the last five years than in any of the other Dublin City Council administrative areas.

Between 2020 and the first half of 2024, up to 61 convictions have been awarded in courts for cases of litter pollution in South Central – the highest rate of any of the five boundary areas in DCC.
