Use of Glyphosate herbicide has been branded ‘disturbing’

THE use of a herbicide called glyphosate by South Dublin County Council contractors to remove weeds on public roads and footpaths has been branded “disturbing” by a Woodstown resident.

Back in 2017, councillors voted for a partial ban on the use of glyphosates, which remains in effect and is enforced in public parks, public gardens, and play areas.
