A TALLAGHT based non-for-profit organisation will see the loss of a “valuable and much loved” employee following the announcement of her retirement.

Anne Doyle has worked as Home Care Manager for Trustus We Care for the past 15 years, a senior care organisation based in Tallaght known to many as Tallaght Home Help Service.

After seeing many significant changes in her 15 years of service, Anne is bidding farewell to the organisation.

Speaking on behalf of the board, Chairperson Cllr Mick Duff said: “Anne’s contribution to the company over the years was immense and will never be forgotten. We are sad to see her go and with a grateful heart we say thank you to Anne, safe in the knowledge that she leaves us with countless memories of days gone by that will last forever.”

Anne joined the company in 1988 as assistant Home Care Manager, and over that time, she became a familiar face around Tallaght, a remarkable colleague and friend to many and a person that made a huge difference to the lives of those she engaged with.

Working as a Home Care Manager, Anne worked with many home care assistants and trained them, becoming their mentor to support them throughout the years.

One of Anne’s main responsibilities was to oversee the delivery of the Home Help Services and the Home Care packages, which provide care to meet the needs of a particular patient.

According to her fellow colleagues at Trustus, Anne was a hard worker and was “truly dedicated” to making the lives of senior citizens as good as could be.

Described by her fellow colleagues as “always cheerful, productive, honest, friendly, reliable, persistent, resourceful, talented and broad-minded” it is no doubt Anne will be missed by all at the organisation.

“Anne may be retiring but will be as active as ever either cycling the roads or walking the various mountain trails that she loves so much. We wish her every success, health and happiness in her retirement,” said her fellow colleagues.
