Participants will also be educated on the history of these trees and plants including any links to folklore, medicinal use in the past, wildlife etc.

Wildflower Walks Ireland has already visited Tymon Park and has compiled a list of ten trees to discuss in a fun and informative way.

The two-hour walk, which will take place in the park’s Enchanted Wood at the main carpark, costs €5 for adults, with kids going free.

Those interested in the walk are invited to meet at the Enchanted Wood in Tymon Park, Tallaght, at 2pm.
