On St Stephen’s Day, Corkagh Park will host a Goal Mile run at 12 noon – email melissamcguire@upcmail.ie for details.

Also on St Stephen’s Day, there will be a run at the Round Towers GAA Club in Clondalkin at 10.30am, with another run taking place in Terenure College at 11am to 12.30pm – email hbyrne@olschool.ie for details.

The Goal Mile is very much a family day event, with people encouraged to turn up in fancy dress.

There is no need to register, just turn up on the day and run or walk the mile, putting your donation into the bucket at the end.

The events in South Dublin County raised thousands of euro for Goal in 2015, and organisers hope for a similar turnout this year.
