‘We need community guards on the street’
REQUESTS have been made for the Minister for Justice and/or the Garda Commissioner to attend a JPC Policing Meeting in South Dublin County for questioning about garda resources, or lack thereof in the area.
Calls for a second garda station in the wider Tallaght area, have been requested for years, with the population much bigger and the crimes in Ireland more varied now, since Tallaght Garda Station first opened in 1987.
