Weather warnings in place from this evening with snow expected
A status yellow warning has been issued for many parts of country from 6pm this evening, with cold and wintry weather expected overnight.
Motorists are also being warned to take care on the roads over the coming days as icy conditions are expected from tonight right through until Saturday.

“The heaviest of the snow fall is most likely over Ulster, Connacht, north Leinster and west Munster and especially so on high ground.”
