The meeting will commence at 8pm and visitors are welcome to attend from 7.45pm. There is no admission and tea and coffee will be served.

Toastmasters is an internationally proven programme that develops peoples communication and leadership skills. Clubs are within 135 countries across the world and the Clondalkin Club is established 18 years.

It meets on a Tuesday evening every two weeks at the Maldron Hotel at 8pm. Members undertake a programme at their own pace that enables them to develop their confidence and skills to deliver presentations.

The meetings are facilitated in a positive and supportive atmosphere, with fellow Members providing mentoring and support.
A structured programme sets goals that are advanced with every step you undertake.

A mentor is assigned to every new member to support them in developing their public speaking and presentation skills.

Seamus Whelan, Clondalkin Toastmasters President said: “A new year entices people to accept new challenges and seek to improve themselves.

“Our club provides excellent opportunity for people to develop personally and professionally by developing their speaking and leadership skills.

“Toastmasters enables people take a fun and educational journey that sees people flourish in delivering speeches, presentations and communicating in front of a group of people.

“Our club is encouraging new people to become involved and our membership is extremely welcoming of newcomers who want to try Toastmasters for themselves.

“Friendship, support, mentoring and guidance is offered at Clondalkin Toastmasters and young and old really flourish. We’d love to see new faces join us for 2017 and you can just come along and sit in to see what Toastmasters is about – there is no obligation to join straight away.”

Anyone interested in attending can just attend on the evening or speak in advance to Mary Conlon, Toastmasters VP of Membership, by emailing maryconlon27@gmail.com or calling 085 1314032.
