Woman arrested as Gardai seize €595k worth of heroin and cocaine in Tallaght

Heroin and cocaine with a street value of €595,000 was seized in Tallaght yesterday.

Tallaght District Drugs Unit carried out a search at a dwelling in New Bancroft Place on Wednesday, October 17, as a result of enquiries into the sale and supply of controlled substances in Tallaght.

Four kilos of heroin and half a kilo of cocaine was seized by Gardai during the search.

According to a Garda statement: “A female in her 20's was subsequently arrested and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda station under provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.”
