25 projects shortlisted for ‘€300k Have Your Say’

A NUMBER of projects have been shortlisted for the Clondalkin “€300k Have Your Say” social budgeting programme.

Local residents have until 7pm on May 27 next to cast their vote on what projects they would like selected.

The 25 projects shortlisted are: €20k for Christmas lights in North Clondalkin, €20,000 for the replacement of Christmas lights in Clondalkin village, €7,000 for the renovation of Clondalkin mens shed, €25,000 for new gym equipment in Rathchoole Community Centre, 

€10,000 for a Community Orchard, €30,000 for outdoor exercise machines in Knockmitten Park, €20,000 for an outdoor table tennis table at the Civic Offices in Clondalkin, €60,000 for the installation of a play ground at Forest Hill Estate,

€30,000 for keep fit equipment in Collinstown Park, €5,000 for planting flowers in Bawnogue, €20,000 to provide glass and recycling facilities in Cherrywood.

€25,000 for a new pavement at the 1916 commemorative garden in Clondalkin, €20,000 for a dog park at Collinstown Park, €60,000 for a playground at St Mark’s Estate, €30,000 for a wifi-activated guide in Clondalkin village,

€25,000 for mosaic benches in Collinstown Park, €5,000 for a piano for Rathcoole Community Centre, €40,000 for a solar powered bench at the Civic Offices in Clondalkin,

€3,200 for Irish signs in Clondlalkin, €3,500 for an on-street bicycle pump in Clondalkin,

€40,000 to improve pedestrian lighting, €1,000 to restore the Old Nangor Road water pump, €20,000 for a Welcome to Clondalkin Hedge at Newlands Cross and €50,000 for a scoping study of Clondalkin’s public spaces.
