€3million Topaz investment creates 18 jobs at Citywest service station

TOPAZ have invested €3 million in a brand new service station in Citywest - creating 18 jobs for the local economy in the process.

Ireland’s largest fuel and convenience retailer – with 444 Irish stations, including its recently acquired Esso station network - has transformed the City Avenue site.

South Dublin County Council granted Topaz permission for the construction of the single storey 350sq.m building last year.

The opening of the City Avenue station in Citywest Business Campus, has created 18 new jobs, and reflects an extensive investment programme by the company in the development of state of the art service stations.

Overall investment at City Avenue totals €3 million, and comes at a time when the company have also invested heavily half a million over the last 18 months in team training and development, winning a number of industry awards.

Niall Anderton, Topaz managing Director said City Avenue “delivers on Topaz’s commitment to revolutionise the forecourt experience.”

“It signifies our continued intent to lead the Irish forecourt industry not only in terms of investment but also our offering,” said Mr Anderton.

City Avenue features a Re.Store – offering a selection of healthy and wholesome forecourt food, combining artisan treats with a range of quality coffees.

Making its Dublin debut at Topaz City Avenue is the authentic Mexican food experience Cantina.
The Cantina taquería in Citywest will be the second to open in Ireland, boasting some of Mexico’s food favourites.

Topaz have 444 stations across the island of Ireland, 158 are owned by Topaz and 286 by dealers.
Citywest is the 20th Topaz station located within South Dublin County and Dublin South Central.
